Genndy Tartakovsky (the guy behind Samurai Jack) is putting together Clone Wars which will start airing in November on Cartoon Network. The series will chronicle the post-AOTC Jedis leading the Republic Army's Clone Troops against various bad guys.

As for my dilemma:
Attack of the Clones => lame.
Samurai Jack => fucking brilliant.
Star Wars => pretty cool if you ignore the latest three movies.
Genndy Tartakovsky => rocks.

Someone let me know if they think this show is a good idea or not...
Current Mood: dilemmed...

I'm sure you meant to write, "latest four movies."

[User Picture]Latest Three: Return of the Jedi, Phantom Menace, and Attack of the Clones...

What's wrong with Empire?

[User Picture]I am pre-disliking the final prequel.

I stand behind Genndy. That man is brilliant. The only thing he worked on that I did not like was the PPG movie, and, frankly, what could you expect from that? Things like this make me wish I had cable.

[User Picture]Indeed, there are some episodes of Jack that I nearly weep at because of the incredible visual storytelling. If there's one fifth of the talent put into Clone Wars that's in Jack, it'll be good enough.
