2003.0521.1545::Script for "Chosen"
I'm not sure of the validity of it, but I just skimmed a script for "Chosen" linked to off of Usenet. If this is, indeed, an earlier draft of the episode, I think it sits thematically better than what was presented. Of course, major spoilers for the episode, and a slightly more catatonia-inspiring ending (this means you, musesfool...)

Though I did like the Dawn bits and the Joyce/First stuff. Shame that got cut.

Agreed... Although I didn't particularly care for the plot-holeyness of Season 5's Dawn plot, this script uses those references to full effect.

A lot of the problems that I had with "Chosen" would have been solved with the inclusion of these snippets of dialogue. It's too bad they couldn't have made a two-hour series finale...
